We wished to know
Each other
Like night and spoon.
I hear myriad spoons
Giggle night after night
On prized tables,
I hear unbroken sound
Of spoons dancing in joy,
At night.
I visit a small town
Every night like a spoon.
In proximity,
Road lights wink, houses
Big and small, look scary.
My night is draped in a
Big black curtain
But in that town I only hear
Unbroken sound
Of spoons
Falling from every table
And ridiculing me, every night.
