Body Cathedral

The divine

is tangible

the body

a temple

the legs

spires

the hands

feathers

the eyes

stain -glassed

hues

Prayer

As a shawl

falls

a mantle over

a calm expanse

cool harmony

the slender stance

of a tender nun

cradling a baby

the solitude of

a baptismal font

lies hither

yonder
