Time never heals!
The wound is still sore
After all those years.
It still hurts to touch.
Never thought the pain
Would be that much.
“Let go and move on.
You can do it, come on”
Everybody says.
But life goes round,
It does not go on.
You think it’s over,
And finally, here comes a closure,
But it never is.
And back again
To the bitter old pain.
And a memory that never fails
To keep afresh all the details.
